While the workers in Stan's Quarry were planting the mines, the taskmaster received a report and instantly ordered everybody to retreat with the Mercenary.

Mecha Miner Foreman suddenly showed up at the entry!

It tried to destroy the stones around the cave, hoping to trap people in the mine.

The Mercenary stopped what it was doing right away.

Mecha Miner Foreman found that its plan failed, and switched its focus to kill the Mercenary.

"Protect the rest of workers to retreat! Go!" The Mercenary Captain yelled.

Although the Mercenary helped the workers out of Stan's Quarry safely, most of the Pioneers were killed.

The survivors went back to search the dead bodies but couldn't find the pioneer mercenary captain anywhere. So no one knows whether the captain is alive...
