Diary of Detective Miluan:
June 30. It is pouring in Kaslow, but the slick rain fails to wash away the smell of gunpowder. I continue to search alone for potential clues within the city.

Everyone knows that General Jarl plots treason. He comes from a military family and has never shown much respect for the crown prince. Jarl is influential in his own way, so his every move affects Kaslow's foundations. If he weren't opposed by Royal Duke Posolain's allies, I'm willing to bet that Crown Prince Troy would be nothing more than Jarl's puppet.

According to the local residents' descriptions and my own findings, I believe Jarl hid his munitions inside Kaslow.

The magnificent walls hide the most despicable of evils. Kaslow, the symbol of absolute royal authority, was on the verge of collapse. I infiltrated the residence of General Jarl at great risk, but I found nothing. The man covers his tracks well.

Just as my investigations seemed to come to a dead end, I suddenly remembered that the Frank family sponsored one of the more recent major building projects in Kaslow.

This link helped me discover that the weapons had been smuggled into Kaslow as "materials" for the building project.

I found the weaponry hidden within Kaslow, but the facts did not lead where I thought they would. The weapons had not been used, and according to the missing Sorcerer, these weapons were not manufactured using the special ore looted by the bugs. This meant they had nothing to do with the unusual magic involved in the latest battle.

My investigation is now back at square one. Even though General Jarl appears to have been innocent in the mutiny, he is definitely involved in stockpiling weaponry, and I trust him about as far as I can throw him. I shall leave the rest to Royal Lieutenants Jessica and Clark.
