"Young Sprite Messenger, I am Zadia, the legendary hero."

"Saphael is too peaceful nowadays. You've gotten soft and lazy; you wouldn't be prepared for a crisis right now if one arose."

"If you want to prove that you are no weakling, accept my challenge!" Zadia exclaimed, handing you a rather plain dagger.

"Use this to kill monsters. Once you have the Fearless status stacked 15 times, come back and see me."

"This dagger is of the utmost importance, so use it carefully!" he warned.

"This plain-looking dagger has a story of its own."

"There was once a kingdom in the east that groaned under the yoke of a tyrannical ruler. A hero decided to assassinate the king to save his people."

"The hero pretended to offer the king the map to new lands. This dagger was hidden within the scroll."

"The dagger you hold is the same dagger used by that hero."

"Use this to kill monsters. Once you have the Fearless status stacked 15 times, come back and see me."

"You seem to have a few tricks up your sleeve." Zadia raised an eyebrow. A ball of light suddenly appeared in the palm of his hand.

"This is the condensed Courage of Light. Consider it a souvenir. You can trade it for a Proof of Courage, one of the requirements for challenging me. Alternately, keep it and save it until you are eligible to challenge me."

"You shan't be able to defeat me through ordinary means, if that's what you're wondering," smirked Zadia.
