<Retired Master of Hide and Seek> Old Hal

You managed to "borrow" Hal's book, some pages of which appeared torn out...

"That book. Could it be...?"

Recognizing it as his own, he hurriedly snatches the book from your hands.

You briefly explain to Hal the purpose of your "borrowing."

"Hurmf! Didn't anyone ever teach you not to mess with other people's things?"

His unexpected reaction catches you a bit off guard. You attempt an apology, but he clearly isn't having it.

"I wonder if the Sprite Messenger will succeed..."

You tell Hal about your training, but he doesn't seem to notice you. You reach out and tap him on the shoulder.

"Wow! What was that... Oh! You're a Sprite Messenger! You just appeared out of thin air! Looks like you've learn everything there is to know about Hide-and-Seek!"

Hal's voice sounds very excited.

"Let's not waste any more time. Get ready for the Hide-and-Seek duel of a lifetime with Banight!"

"I hope the Sprite Messenger wins."

Hal mutters to himself with his eyes closed.

"I heard the bag pop. You did it!"

"Banight was so scared, he has to be reflecting on his actions."

"Now you're the King of Hide-and-Seek!"

Hal covers his ears and nods to you with a smile.

"The news of Banight's defeat at your hand has already begun to spread and people are beginning to notice you."

"You might not know it yet, but everyone is going to be scoping out your Hide-and-Seek skills!"

Hal smiles at you.

"I even have a gift for you from a fan of yours. Don't be shy, take it."

"I'm Hal, the co-host for the second round."

"Kelin and Pamela are the other co-hosts. We'll try to see through your disguise!"

"You have 10 seconds to disguise yourself. If we can't find you, you win one round."

"If you win 3 rounds you pass the test."

"Keep track of us, or we'll find you fast."

"Congratulations on passing the test."

"It looks like the kids and I need to train more."

"Try to remember that I need fireworks with unbroken seals. It would be even better if they're still packaged!"

"Isn't there a fireworks expert named Hatfield in the city? Maybe you should go talk to him."

"Please bring me any you find. Thanks!"
