"Yo, imp! Yeah, you! Get over here,"

Dallas impertinently commands you.

"I hear you helped the guards recently, eh? Been doing a fair few quests on the side, no doubt?

Harrumph! Thanks to you, there's nobody left in Carso's army who can take me on.

But there are still a few loose ends. To wit--several unknown rebel bandits. I'm making it your job to crush them for me.

Of course, there's a handsome reward in it for you, as usual. One day I'm gonna own this whole stinkin' area,"

Dallas boasts.

"I already told you--it's just a few rag-tag Tetran Sailors. What are you waiting for?"

Dallas asks with an expression of disdain that is practically burnt into his complexion.

"You wish to obtain the reward, after all? Then get moving!"

"Pfff, I'm not even convinced you still have it in you,"

Dallas says, scornful as ever.

"Yeah, yeah. Here's your reward, as agreed."

"I have accumulated a lot of power, and now it's time to consolidate.

Power, influence, control: these are my goals in life, and there's no point in denying it,"

Dallas shamelessly concedes.

"Currently I seek the power of corrupted Sprite Messengers!

How about you--will you support the greatest ruler who ever lived?

Then help me defeat the enslaved Sprite Fighters and Casters!"

"Sprite Fighters and Casters are generally found near Rift Hunters and Rift Apostles.

Your mission is simple--seek them out and crush them! That'll show them who's boss around here."

"Bwaahahaha... hm. I should work on my evil laugh, it's not quite sinister enough,"

Dallas muses out loud. You leave him to it.

"Aha, more power... give it here!" In parting, you make a mental note to keep an eye on this megalomaniac.

"I heard a nasty rumor the other day.

"It appears some disgruntled Tetran Sailors and Sprite Fighters are plotting against me behind my back!

I'm not terribly worried, to be honest, but just to be on the safe side, how about you go spy on their secret meeting?"

Dallas's tone of voice suggests that this is an order rather than a request.

"My sources tell me they usually meet in some dark corner of Carso's Depot. Go figure... See what you can find out, and don't delay; there's no time to waste.

I'll show them what happens to those who would turn against their benevolent dictat--erm, ruler!"

"Well? Don't just stand there--brief me! What did you find? Uncovered a vile plot to overthrow me, no doubt?"

Dallas asks presumptuously. It takes some time to convince him of the real story.

"Aha! Mwuaaahahahahaha! (That was better, eh?) So, these rascals want to devote themselves to me, is that it? Perfect! Everything is going according to plan. Power begets power, and soon, I shall become invincible!

But there's no time to lose. Go forth, my faithful subject, and take the sailors' power if they are willing to yield to me.

If Dallas ever rules the world, it will be by sheer force of willpower.

"Go and fetch the sailors' leader. I think his name is Itchy... or Bishy... or something like that."
