Quill's Rock

"Help me!" came a voice from Quill's Rock.

You searched for the source of the sound.

"Finally! Someone can hear me! It'll be difficult to rescue me, but I hope you can help!"

"First, take out the Bone Vultures in the south to prove you are capable. I'll just wait here."

"Since you can hear my words, you must be a Sprite Messenger."

"A mage named Foster locked me inside this rock. He used to be quite the powerful magician."

"We need his Magic Judge Staff to unlock the seal."

"Though he died long ago, his offspring live in the Old Bern City in the Plague Forest."

"His children have that Magic Judge Staff. Please retrieve it so I can finally be free!"

"I am a Sprite and have been imprisoned here for a long time. I can't wait to be free again - I'm going to frolic so hard!"

"Living inside this rock is, as you can imagine, pretty dull. I mostly listen to the cries of the Bone Vultures and the chatter of the pirates."

"What? Foster's offspring don't have it? The pirates stole it?"

"At least we know that the Black Bone pirates have it,. And they're nearby."

"I know what to do next. Will you help me?"

"Foster's offspring mentioned Black Bone pirates, and that reminded me of something..."

"I once overheard Black Bone pirates saying they buried treasures somewhere south of the peninsula."

"Treasures are kept in an iron box. Perhaps you'll find my scepter yet!"

"Black Bone pirates always pass by me and walk toward the Beach Hill in the southwest."

"I bet that hill is brimming with secrets."

You placed the Magic Judge Staff in front of Quill's Rock.

"At last! The staff!" exclaimed the voice from the rock. "But..."

The rock emitted a long, sad sigh.

"The magic gem on the Staff is missing, and it won't work without that. Can you find it? Maybe the Black Bone pirates know its location."

"As far as I know, the pirates have a greedy leader named Podony."

"Podony cannot resist the precious fur of the Golden Sabretoothed Cats."

"If you collect some furs, you could exchange them for useful information from Podony."

"The freedom I have looked forward to for several thousand years - I can't believe it's almost within my grasp."

"I can't wait!"

Oh! You brought my key to freedom!"

After installing the Smooth Etherstone on the Magic Judge Staff, it emitted a dazzling light, spun a few times on the Quill's Rock, and then disappeared, while the Quill's Rock continued to emit a strong holy light.

"Hmm, the Magic Judge Staff indeed weakened about half of the Seal's power, %n%, I thank you for that!"

After emitting a white light towards the sky, the Quill's Rock returned to its calm state.
