"I've found that the animals here have some subtle mutations.
However, different animals have the same symptoms.
I think it's a good idea to check their food and water sources first. What do you think?"

"I'm analyzing the plants that the animals might eat.
Why don't you go deep into the forest and check out the spring there?"

"If you run into any aggressive animals on the way there, feel free to put them out of their misery.
I could use some animal samples as well!"

"Yes, these leaves do look strange! Look at the veins on them...
Huh? When did you get back?!"

Charlotte is so focused on the plants that she got from who-knows-where,
that she doesn't even notice you standing next to her.

"How was it? Did you find anything at the spring?"

She looks at you with excitement.

"Yes... It's like nothing I ever expected! Haha."

Charlotte pulls out a pile of bottles and, after a quick examination of the animal samples, smiles broadly.


"There's absolutely no connection between the distance from the spring and the level of mutation in the animals or their active area!
But I don't have enough resources here, so I can't do a more thorough examination."
