L94. The Felissan's Rage 3

You can't help but ask about the conflict between the Felissan and humans. Kui scratches her furry head and thinks about it before talking.

"You know the statue of the Miracle Child in Optima? That statue is a sacred symbol for us Felissan, and it must not be desecrated."

"But many villagers have been having nightmares about the statue, and they think that it has to do with the humans who also worship it."

"You will have to ask someone who has had these nightmares for details. To help your investigation, I can temporarily transform you into one of us. Hurry and gather information!"

"Heehee! Shapeshifting is Kui's best trick." Kui looks proudly at you, admiring her handiwork.

"The villagers will never see through such perfect shapeshifting! I wish Claudie could see it! Meow, heehee!"

"Did you learn anything?"

You approach Kui and tell her about the villagers' nightmares.

"Looks like something must have happened over in Optima." Kui puts her chin between her hands and ponders. "To have the same nightmare at the same time... No wonder the villagers are blinded by panic and hatred. It doesn't help that humans are the ones guarding the statue..."

"Looks like there's been a huge misunderstanding."
