L79. Thorny Rose

"I am Ifu, the chief of staff for the Ilya Avenger Cult," echoed a woman's voice in your head.

"The Cult has been watching you for some time. You are not the best we've seen, but some of our leaders believe you have shown great potential."

"We have a minor problem, and we'd like to give you the opportunity to solve it. Come see me in the safe camp at Sprite Tear Forest."

"You will, of course, be rewarded for your efforts."

Ifu eyed you silently.

"What on earth is wrong with the Cult? Why did they ask for such a lazy Sprite Messenger? We've so many to choose from, and they pick this weakling?"

"Forget it. I traveled all this way, so you're going to listen to everything I say, you fat-legged twerp!" she barked.

You looked down at your legs, suddenly self-conscious.
