L81. Attacking Caravans

A sword stained with the blood of the old man's son was laid on a simple grave. The blade had been stolen from the Beastman soldier who slaughtered the boy; he would never use it again.

Tia grieved silently for this young boy. Suddenly, a plan began to form in her mind.

She had attacked the camp while wearing a bright blue outfit, thus sowing the seeds of terror among the Beastmen. Making an entire company fall apart, though, would be a little more complicated.

The target was quite obvious. Tia looked into the distance and saw the Beastmen's military clone caravans kicking up dust as they came ever closer.

She held her breath. A blue shadow carefully slipped through the heavily guarded caravan.

"Good afternoon. Keep up the good work, everyone." Tia smiled and gave a little curtsey, balancing atop the lead cloned beast's head.

The clone beast roared in fear as the Beastmen stared, slack-jawed, at the blue shadow.

"Let's see how long you burly gents can go hungry." Tia smiled coldly and charged into the caravan, sword drawn.

The Beastmen were terrified of this seemingly mythical foe.

Moving with fluid grace, Tia dodged between the wagons, slashing at ropes and driving off the braver Beastmen who tried to hurl themselves upon her.

"Be gone." Tia's icy voice rang out in the dark.

Terrified, the Beastmen scattered in all directions, yelping and cursing.
