"Don't look at me like that. You don't think I would do something like that, do you? Do I look like that sort of person?" Lucas suddenly gets excited.

"Ahem... my long time research has found out that the strange energy given off by the glass has the power to control people's minds. But..." Lucas stops. "I think don't think there is any direct link between the transformation of the villagers and glass."

"My assistant Ters has information on Squamatalle, but..." Lucas smiles sneakily. "I'd like you to collect some glass and hand it to my assistant."

"Don't give me that face. You're coming to me for help, so this is a perfectly fair trade-off."
