Trol Energy Guard Chrono

"Hello, traveler. Dangerous creatures lurk out there; don't wander too far from the village."

"My left leg hurts quite badly, and if there's an emergency, I may not be able to protect you."

"Thank you, kind stranger." Chrono plucked the steel bracket from your hands and quickly installed it in his own leg.

"Things have gone from bad to worse around here. Please use caution when exploring the area."

"The living resources in the village are waning," Chrono explained.

"Because of my leg problems, I cannot collect materials efficiently for Marco, who is in charge of living resources."

"Please get some meat from the Snowy Forest Elks and Hard Iced Twigs from the Snowbound Treants. Give Marco those items; it'll get him out of the funk he's been in."

"You may find Snowy Forest Elks and Snowbound Treants northwest of the village."

Hello, how may I help you? Chrono's brain beeped.

"From Fiona?" Chrono sounded confused as he takes the tree ring.

"Fiona is still a little girl. How could she die of old age?"

"Oh, I remember. The little girl in the village is Marco's daughter and Fiona's granddaughter. Her name is Fiona, too."

"Fiona... she was an orphan," Chrono said softly, lost in his own world.

"I was hunting in the Giant Forest with her father when a Stiff Wood Demon, Quecar, killed him."

"Fiona was only three at the time."

"I need your help, kind human. Kill the Tree Demon, Quecar, in the Giant Forest for me... and for Fiona's father, too."

"I didn't remember anything about Fiona's father until now. How strange."

Chrono's brain beeped and hummed. You wondered if it might overload and begin to smoke, but Chrono continued to chug along.

"Thank you for avenging Fiona's father." Chrono bowed deeply.

"Now, I have no more regrets, at least not at the moment. Time will bring more, I'm sure."

"I feel that you have immense power. I plead for your assistance." Chrono bowed deeply to you.

"I used to be a guard of the Trol Stonehenge, but the other Trol guards lost their minds and forced me to leave."

"My subordinates became evil demons and began attacking one another. I cannot bear it."

"I hope you can defeat the Trol guards for me. They gather around the Trol Stonehenge in the east."

"I used to plan on taking back the Trol Stonehenge and guarding it once more."

"It's too late. Now, I'm focused on protecting the people in Hermit's Village. Human lives are much more important than a slab of rock."

"Did you defeat the insane Trol guards?" Chrono sniffled metallically.

"The Trol Stonehenge can gather nature's energy; the guards are using that energy to heal themselves."

"They'll keep attacking each other for all time, it seems. But thank you for taking steps to help."
