I thought it was gonna be a monster investigation just like the ones I did before, so I took safety precautions and went into the Ancient City of Vines.

And what happened there scared the daylights out of me.

The insects there spoke human language!

I heard that Sprite Messengers could channel messages sent by non-human creatures through the Sprites and understand their language.

But I'm pretty sure that I don't have their talents, otherwise I wouldn't have been an investigator in the first place!

So I went out not long after I got in and decided to ask around about these big ants that could speak human language.

"I remember a young one asked me about those talking ants before."

"Well, as far as I remember, they weren't 'Soldier Ants' in the beginning. They looked much smaller than they are now, and didn't talk at all."

"They migrated to the ancient city, grew bigger, and started to talk."
