"The thing is," Auston says, "there are fewer and fewer people in the village who hunt these days. The children are growing, and they need their nutrients!"

"Did you see those Horned Highland Cloned Beasts? Don't be fooled by their tough skins, their meat is delicious and nutritious!"

"It would help us a lot if you could get some Cloned Beast meat. Hahaha!" Auston laughs heartily.

"Heehee... Cloned Beast jerky... it goes so well with wine." Auston rubs his hands together, muttering to himself.

"Hey, did you hear someone talking just now?"

The skin of all Cloned Beasts is very tough, but this species seems to have even tougher skin than usual.

You hand the fresh Cloned Beast meat to Auston.

"You have passed the test!" Auston suddenly grows serious when he takes the meat from you, and gazes at you intensely. It seems that all of his earlier fooling around was just an act.

"Sorry, a lot of strange things have been happening lately. I needed to be careful."

"It all comes down to those damn Felissan!" Auston waves his wine bottle around in anger.
