Odin, 14 years old, mid-summer.

One night, while doing self-training on the Kaslow Plains, Odin was alerted to an attack. He opened his eyes and saw a hungry coyote. With only his bare hands, he fought his hardest and finally defeated that aggressive coyote. This scared away a pack of wolves that was eyeing him.

When the early morning comes, the lumberjack who was going up the hill saw the long-dead coyote lying next to Odin, sound asleep, can't help but let out a cry: "He's such an extraordinarily brave young boy!"

This was the beginning of Odin's bravery, and it is the episode everyone loves to talk about. Now, people often go to the northwestern plains and try to look for an animal as ferocious as that hungry coyote because they want to remember Odin's bravery.

Hungry Coyotes' claws are filled with the smell of blood. Up to this day their descendants still attack travelers camping out there in the silent nights. But who could fight the coyote like Odin did?

If Odin had not opened his eyes that night, who know if his life would have come to an end? Or was it that even if he was sound asleep, he could still defeat the ferocious Hungry Coyote? Perhaps he himself did not know, either.

The Hungry Coyote's strength is sufficient to kill people instantly. It is admirable indeed that Odin was then able to subdue it with his bare hands.
