◆Challenge◆

After becoming famous, I often received some challenges, usually from people wanting to compete with me in archery. Unfortunately, none of them ever proved to be a match for me.

My sixty-seventh Challenger was named Wagner.

The moment I saw him, I knew this would be the toughest battle of my Ranger life.

We decided to compete by hunting the Roc! The Roc is the most troublesome monster in Knight Valley, both fast and ferocious.

With sunset as the deadline, we began an intense competition in the valley northeast of Fort Arsalan.

(The peak duel between the old and new Rangers fills you with Hot Blooded Surge, making you wish you could join in.)

*Please read this book to report the completion of the mission.

Intermediaire :

Wagner could shoot very accurately, but I was famous for my range and strength.

Wagner and I had the same number of kills. This made me incredibly nervous; I wasn't ready to give up my title as number one ranger of the North.

At sunset, a judge counted our kills.

"Boder: 4736 kills. Wagner: 4724 kills. Boder wins!" exclaimed the judge. The crowd went wild, and I breathed a sigh of relief.

Wagner's efficiency lowered over time, and I edged out a narrow victory. For now, I was still number one ranger of the North.

(You admired Boder's tenacity.)
