He was an old ram, so, he was very old.

In his youth, the old ram was the most knowledgeable and respected among the Elsaland Magic Rams, but after he grew old, the flock no longer paid attention to him.

"Hey! We don't care about some old ram who's about to kick the bucket," the magic rams said while grazing.

Maybe he wasn't needed here anymore? The old ram thought to himself.

(You seem to have seen that group of Elsaland Magic Rams northwest of the Knight Training Camp, but who would have thought that even rams would ostracize one another? It's truly a sad sight.)

In the old ram's youth, he overheard travelers talking about the ocean. They claimed it was an expanse of salty water, wide and deep and bluer than a cloudless sky.

"More blue than the sky? What could that mean?" wondered the ram.
