Temporal Scientist Jiladas

"Good thing we returned early... The place hasn't been destroyed completed yet..." Jiladas says with sentimentality.

As you look around you see a multitude of machinery and equipment that you haven't seen before. You ask Jiladas where exactly you are.

"Sorry... I lied to you..." Jiladas says with a guilty look on his face.

"Actually this is a northern island in the parallel world of Jale. Right now you are in my workshop. In order to save Jale now, we need the strength of Sprite Messengers. Therefore I have used the power of science to alter the trajectory of time and bring you here."

"Not long ago... Jale was invaded by Bugs and reduced to rubble. Many of the residents fled and are now hiding in makeshift shelters. For Jale and for the innocent residents, please extend a hand to save us!" Jiladas begs for your help, clearly distressed.

"Hey... do you know if this place has been destroyed yet?"

"I have added special protective barriers around the workshop. If any of those Bugs get close to these barriers the black carbon will ignite. Because of this, this place is one of the few places in Jale that haven't been destroyed." Jiladas says with confidence.

"I still want to develop some weapons to fight the Bugs, but the only local source of materials is 'Stan's Quarry' and it's occupied by the Bugs." Jiladas looks perplexed.

"The mechanical shells that the Bugs outside the workshop have look like they would make great materials for building weapons. I'm nothing but a scientist and am far too weak to do it, so I must ask you to go and get some for me."

"Sigh... I have the designs, but I don't have the materials to construct it." Jiladas shakes his head in frustration.

You give Jiladas the Mechanical Shells that you were able to collect.

"There are so many Mechanical Shells. I think it will be more than enough! But these shells look different than the ones on the Bugs before. Let me analyze them..." Jiladas takes some of the shells to a special instrument as he says this.

"It's strange to say... These shells have minerals on them that are unique to Stan's Quarry. Could it be that these Bugs are using the minerals from the quarry to make equipment?" Jiladas falls into deep thought.

"I have things to do, but I want to verify if the Bugs have started using minerals from Stan's Quarry. Please help me collect some machine parts from the Cyborg Ironshell Crabs and Royal Steelshell Crabs outside the workshop!"

"It would be great if the Bugs are using minerals from Stan's Quarry! I can use the special properties of the minerals to sabotage them." Jiladas buries himself in research about weapon design and starts talking to himself.

"Oh? You're back! Let me see what you've brought with you..." Jiladas takes a massive damaged part from your hands and throws it into a strange analytical instrument.

"Ha! I guessed right! These Bugs have started using minerals from Stan's Quarry to mechanize themselves." Jiladas looks very pleased as he watches the information on the instrument's screen.

"This discovery will be a great help to the current military situation. I'm going to print out a copy of this data. Later I'll need you to take it to the Jale Shelter and give it to Nicholas, the Science Association Chairperson."

"Those three brothers have made me proud. They've always been a great help to me."

"How did I not see the confusion in their eyes when I started asking them to carry out some unscrupulous tasks?"

You ask Jiladas why he didn't tell the whole story to Reece. If they were blood relatives wouldn't it make sense to provide mutual assistance to each other?

"You don't understand what's it's like for a big brother to protect their feelings." Jiladas says firmly: "Sometimes ignorance is bliss."

You say that you don't think so, because when you and Reece talked about it before his tone was full of contradictions and pain, even...

"It's like this... Reece... is in pain..." Jiladas shakes his head, a little bit puzzled and then enters deep thought.

"If you really think this will be good for my brothers... If you really want to know what happened then please take this key."

"Up ahead are five robots of the same model. One of them is hiding my diary."
