Magic Academy Dean Edward's Mirage

This monster's face... it looks so familiar. Could it be... him? Edward whispers, staring at the monster.

"You are... a Sprite Messenger? Forgive me. This shadow of mine has not spoken to humans for a very long time." Edward sounds very weak.

"You must be confused to see me like this. Please allow me to explain... before the Battle of Ilya, I told three students to place my thought entities in different places. I also created a shadow to prevent exactly this situation," Edward says slowly.

"While I was fighting the monster, I became aware that their target was not Ilya but something else. My shadow had been investigating their true purpose since then - ever since the end of the war. Finally I discovered this cave. The monsters seem to have hidden something deep inside, but my current condition means that I can neither fight them, nor enter their secret lair."

"Now that the monsters have been killed, I can teleport you there. This location is what those monsters were trying to conceal. Please explore it for me."
