Just then, two forms suddenly burst out, one like a man and one like a woman, and the huge Fire Beast was knocked down in an instant!

The man had a mask with a short curly silver hair, and the woman had long curly silver hair. She really looked beautiful and charming.

And the main point is that they didn't have any weapons in their hands, because their hands were weapons themselves.

"Their arms are... they're crystallized?" Jester seemed to be shocked by these two mysterious figures with razor-sharp crystals for arms.

They moved at inhuman speed and slaughtered the Fire Beasts.

On a closer look, I saw they both had dark red eyes and silver hair. And it was obvious they were twins even without being able to see their real faces.

"..." The man said nothing.

"Oh, this is nothing. I was just bored. But you guys already struggled with these small potatoes. Has Carso Church fallen? State how you serve Carso!" The woman looked at the three of us with contempt.

"What? What?" I screamed, then, scared by how the woman was taking charge, and scared by her knowing we were Carso followers. Were they followers too? But they looked nothing like us!

"Too scared to talk, huh? Well, no matter. I can tell you're from the Carso Church just looking at you. Count your blessings that you ran into us. Now go serve Carso!" The woman smirked and turned around. And then they both disappeared in a flash.

"They're gone... Will we ever see them again?" I had so many questions! I started murmuring them to myself.

Also, to be honest, I was partly steaming out of my ears because of her attitude. On the other hand there was that part where they saved our lives. I liked when they did that.

SoI turned and looked at the two people behind me, and Jester was helping Emily.

"Are you okay?" I asked Emily, whose face was still a bit pale, so she'd know that I cared.

"I'm sorry to make you guys worry... and thank you..." Emily turned and thanked me.

Now, I don't know if this really happened... ...but I think I saw her face blushing a little.

"You're welcome," I replied to her, and looked up to the sky, and smiled a little.
