L98. The Forgotten Honor (REP)

"We were just talking about the ex-members who turned traitor against their investigative comrades. After traveling together from Ilya and spending so many days in close quarters, I felt as though we'd become a family of sorts..."

"It makes their betrayal all the more difficult to bear. I want you to pay them back for some of the pain they've caused us. And bring back the clip and button symbolizing the team's pride and give them to Chara, would you?"

"Those people lost the right to wear our emblem the moment they abandoned us."

"To say they were brainwashed is too kind an excuse. The sad fact is, they chose this path."

"Is this...?" Chara casts her eyes down at the familiar emblem.

"I still find it difficult to accept that the people I once called comrades are now the enemy. But make no mistake, should our paths cross again, I won't hesitate to do what needs to be done." Her expression hardens.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I have work to do."
