L15. Mage's Requirement (REP)

"So, she's agreed to undergo my special courage training?"

"Great! I can't wait to try out some new scaring mag- Uh! I mean, I just like helping people in need!"

(Cyrick laughs nervously.)

"Anyhow, my plan is to use a transformation spell on you in order to give Nina (215, 170) a fright. It'll even record her reaction! Cool, huh?"

"What does any of this have to do with courage training, you ask?"

"Well, surely the more fear Nina experiences, the more quickly she'll build up a resistance to it! Now, let's see how she reacts to your disguise!"

(Despite your misgivings, you agree to scare Nina in the name of courage training.)

"So, tell me! How did she react?"

"Try this scaring magic effect!"

"Did Nina pass out from shock?"

"Wow! These readings are off the charts! Like, wayyyy off the charts..."

"Uh, I think we may have gone a little overboard..."

"But it's not like I forced Nina to participate! This isn't my fault! Right...?"

(You sense that Cyrick feels somewhat guilty about Nina.)
