L70. Drilling Platform on the Sea Investigation

Apart from the obvious signs of corrosion, you also find what appears to be an oil stain on the piece of leather. You decide to head to the Drilling Platform on the Sea (768, 450) to look for the source of the corrosion.

"In addition to gentle ground vibrations, I've also observed pollution spreading from the drilling platform. If I could get my hands on a sample, I'd be able to conduct a proper analysis."

You hand the corroded piece of leather to Honah and describe the strange noises you heard at the Drilling Platform on the Sea, suggesting that they may be caused by subterranean energy.

"I can't say I've heard anything like what you described. However, an energy like that could explain why so many animals have recently fled the area. This certainly warrants further investigation. I'll look into it immediately."

"In any case, please accept these as a token of appreciation for lending your assistance. While I'm unsure of where these map fragments lead, I have a feeling you'll discover something interesting once they've been pieced together."
