L15. Fearful Romance

Npc : Croft

"Can you give me a hand, Sprite Messenger?" Croft asked.

"My little brother Gan is a travelling bard. We usually keep in touch by mail, but in a recent letter, he told me he's met a beautiful girl by the bridge outside Ilya, and now he's in love."

"This is rather unexpected. He's not much of a romantic. I'm hoping the girl's not some beastly monster in disguise. Yup, that's the conclusion I usually jump to."

"The girl in question is at the bridge outside Ilya now. Take this formula, make the final product, and use it. If nothing happens, then we're golden. If the girl suddenly appears, though, she's a snake spirit in disguise, and for Gan's sake, you must defeat her and force her to reveal her true form!" Croft handed you the formula.

"I can't believe Gan got a girlfriend before I did - even if she is a monster," Croft grumbled under his breath.

I've got another date with Donis at the bridge today! Gan exclaimed giddily.

Npc : Gan

"Isn't this the engagement ring that I gave Donis? Why do you have it?" Gan snatched the ring from your hands.

You quickly explained the situation. Gan fell silent.

"I believe that she is still alive. I don't care whether she's monster or human! I fell in love with who she is on the inside! I won't let anyone stand in the way of my love, even my own brother," Gan said firmly.

"Thank you for telling me this. I will leave when I'm ready. This is a gift my brother once gave me. Now, I'll give it to you. He'll just have to understand." Gan handed the box to you ceremoniously.
