"I've finished!" Persephone hold up the finished hat.

"Isn't it great? I'd say it's my masterpiece!" Persephone hands you the hat so you can take a closer look.

"I'd like you to help me with one more thing," Persephone says, a bit embarrassed.

"I'm afraid if I take it to Adonis myself, he'll think I'm joking again. Can you please take this hat to him and tell him that I really do love him?" Persephone's eyes are serious.

I did know... but, I can't... Adonis says, his face filled with sadness.

"Persephone wanted you to give this to me?" Adonis asks.

You explain to Adonis that Persephone's confessions of love were sincere.

"I know," Adonis says quietly. "I always knew about her feelings, but for the time being I can't reciprocate them." Adonis' face is filled with pain.

"Right now, I must place my father and the problems of the village before myself. I can't think about the future until these problems are solved. So I can't reciprocate her feelings for me, and instead I laugh it off as a joke." Adonis smiles bitterly.
