L51. Magic Animal Anthology

You gazed at an index that contained information about the habits of rare animals.

In the margin next to each animal, someone had neatly written down how to cook it and what it tasted like.

You paged through the book until you found the signature of Bruman, a highly regarded chef in the Scorching Wind Desert.

"Field kitchen chefs must master cooking in the wilderness, but they also have to learn how to hunt effectively."

"Prey you've hunted yourself always tastes best."

"I'd completely forgotten about this book!"

"When I was a hunter, we cooked only to sate our hunger, not for the pleasure of preparing something delicious. Everything tasted the same - rather chewy and gamey. One day, though, I killed an animal that looked much like a chicken and decided to fry it up."

"It was finger lickin' good!"
