Apart from using the tears of Elsaland Magic Ram to see ghosts, Elsaland folklore also speaks of how evil spirits can be summoned. The evil spirit summoned using this method makes what you see using the first method look like ordinary wandering spirits.

Near the Hunter Village in Knight Valley lives a creature called the Cranky Moonbird. The creature is very hard to tame and is considered by local hunters to be a nuisance. Some mages that devote their lives to studying how to summon evil spirits like these creatures however.

To summon the evil spirits of Northland, one must defeat these vicious creatures and collect six complete Cranky Moonbird beaks tainted with their blood.

Then, one must use his own blood to draw a hexagram and put the beaks at the six points.

The summoner must call the evil spirits sincerely. If the ceremony is successful, a power evil spirit will arise. The summoner, if powerful enough, can ask the evil spirit to do his bidding.

However, if the summoned spirit feels that the summoner is not powerful enough to be its master, it will kill the summoner and take their magical power.

If you want to prove that you have the power to control evil spirits, summon them! Be careful though. Summoned evil spirits are extremely violent!
