L49. Shadow Beneath the Falls

"Could I convince you to help me with something?" asked Ludaumann innocently.

"There is a Giant Fishman near the waterfall, but if I tell the villagers that, they'll think I'm lying. I'm not strong enough to bring back any kind of proof, and no one will take my word for it."

"Could you go to the waterfall in the south where the Little Fishman Ghosts dwell? I know that's where the Giant Fishman hides. Kill him, and bring us his fin! They'll never call me a liar again!"

"It's huge, with big, gnashing teeth covered in seaweed and moss. The guy really needs to learn how to floss."

"I ran back to the village to tell everyone, but they all said that it must just be the Ancient Grandbaron."

"They lectured me about telling tall tales and grounded me."

"But it's true! The Giant Fishman exists!"

"I knew the Giant Fishman was real! Look at the size of that fin!" Ludaumann laughed happily.

"I can't wait to show everyone."

"Thank you, %c%. Take this ring as a token of my appreciation. I found it when I encountered the Giant Fishman that day."
