"Meow meow meow." The Felissan girl before you sings while picking flowers.

"Dragonroot, it cures a cough... and thistle-leaf the flu... if you want to make the bleeding stop... it's pignose grass for you..."

The song sounds familiar, and you immediately realize that this Felissan is Claudie's friend.

You approach the Felissan girl and greet her. "Are you Miss Wright? I'm %n%, a friend of Claudie's."

The Felissan girl's eyes light up: "Claudie! Where is she? Why didn't she come with you?"

"We're under orders from Adam Nice to go to Optima and investigate something. She's heading here after she meets up with Wulu." You continue: "Is it possible for me to rest here awhile?"

"A friend of Claudie's is a friend of Kui's!" Kui extends a furry hand. "Welcome, %n%!"

"Some things have happened recently that have made me very sad." Kui's cat eyes show how troubled she is.

You tell Kui that you will do whatever you can to help her.

"We Felissan used to be on good terms with the humans. Kui's father used to go to Claudie's village to do business."

"But recently, some of the Felissan from my tribe have been openly expressing hatred for humans. These fools, blinded by hate, are wandering the countryside causing trouble."

"%n%, please go knock some sense into them. There's no other way to teach these idiots a lesson!"

"I like Claudie the best!"

"Claudie taught me how to use magic. I'm not very good at it yet. But seeing a little spark makes me very happy!"

"Did you teach them a lesson?"

"Excellent... I hope that will cool them down a little."

"The conflict between the Felissan and humans has been escalating. Some people in class have even stopped speaking to Kui because she treats Claudie as her sister." Kui's ears lower sheepishly.

"Heehee! Shapeshifting is Kui's best trick." Kui looks proudly at you, admiring her handiwork.

You approach Kui and tell her about the villagers' nightmares.

"Looks like something must have happened over in Optima." Kui puts her chin between her hands and ponders. "To have the same nightmare at the same time... No wonder the villagers are blinded by panic and hatred. It doesn't help that humans are the ones guarding the statue..."

"Looks like there's been a huge misunderstanding."

"Oh no, %n%!" Kui looks extremely anxious.

"That stupid brother of mine has been persuaded to start hating humans too!"

"He even joined a secret Felissan expedition to attack Optima, meow!"

"My brother is excitable to begin with. There must be someone behind this! Please, bring my brother back before it's too late!"

"Is my brother willing to come back now?"

"Please bring him back - once the expedition starts, it will be too late!"

"Meow? Why am I here?" Ashe wakes, shaking his head.

"Stupid Ashe! They almost got you killed!" Kui hits her brother in anger.

"Don't be angry, Kui!" Ashe covers his head.

"I don't know what happened. Those villagers brainwashed everyone. They made me believe that humans were our enemies."

"Luckily you brought me back, or I would have done something terrible." Ashe is deeply grateful.

"Meow! Now I'm angry!" Kui flashes her claws. "Curse those agitators for making the villagers lose their heads!"

"Why do they have to drag others into it if they want to make trouble themselves? They even involved my brother."

"They must be stopped from spreading rumors before even more villagers are persuaded!"

"Ashe makes everyone happy." Kui beams with pride.

"No matter how sad I become, Ashe will make a funny face, and I laugh every time!"

"If someone dares hurt such a great brother, I will meow him repeatedly!"

"Phew! Those cowardly agitators became docile as sheep after they saw a few fireballs hit their friends!" Kui patted dust from her paws.

"I'd say they'll behave themselves from now on."

"Kui! We are too late!" shouts Ashe. "Some of the teams are still moving toward Optima!"

"Oh no! This doesn't look good..." Kui rubs her hands together anxiously.

"Ashe and I will stay in the village to stop new expedition teams, %n%. Try to stop the current expedition teams before things get worse. Go and warn the people of Optima!"
