Intermediate
"Hello, %c%, I hear you came all the way from the south!" Roland shook your hand firmly.

"We humans really should stop fighting each other. We must unite agains the monsters."

"There's not much we can do at this point. We've already retreated to White Spring Village."
End
"You want me to ascend as the lord?" Roland asked, raising an eyebrow in shock.

"Naturally, someone has to stand up and lead the north."

"But..."

"It hurts to see Elsaland broken apart like this."

"I know I'm first in line for the lordship, but with the whereabouts of Lord Singa unknown, if I ascend, I fear people will think I'm trying to usurp the title."

"Could you consult the Elsaland elders for me?"

"Please ask the lord's mistress and Cenochi, the Chief Wizard of Elsaland, for their advice. Also, check in with Headmaster Lancelot, who is recovering at Sandwind Observatory."
Intermediate
"Even if I announce ascension, people may not follow me."

"At least I'll have the authority to rebuild Elsaland Knights directly under the lord."

"We must pull ourselves together to face upcoming challenges."
End
"Thank you, my friend. I'll think about the elders' replies." Roland put his chin on his knuckles, deep in thought. Suddenly, he stood, thrusting out his chest.

"I, Roland, declare that I shall ascend as the lord in the name of knight's honor and will lead the reborn Elsaland Knights to glorious victory!"

"Come! Let's solve the problems at hand."

"Once I ascend, I want to strike hard against the bandits making trouble in the southeast."

"They attack us constantly. I cannot stand it anymore!"

"I'd also like to resurrect the reputation of the Elsaland Knights."

"Take your weapons and go to the bandits' base together. It's in the southeast of White Spring Village. Show the bandits what Elsaland Knights are capable of."
Intermediate
"Show them no fear," Roland encouraged.

"Make them fear our wrath."
End
"Well done. Thanks for your help, friend."

"I have another favor to ask of you."

"Please go to the Elsaland Post in Plague Forest and find Captain Ronald."

"Inform Team Leader Ronald that I've ascended as the new lord, and assure him he should stay at the outpost and keep watch over our borders."

"Hurry, my friend. Ronald and his men must be eager for news from their friends and families."
Intermediate
"Have you informed Ronald?"

"Hurry up! There are many more tasks to be done."
End
"Thank you for making the trip."

"While you were gone, we got a request. Could you help?"

"The Mayor of White Spring Village told me that attacks on villagers by apes are getting worse. The Silver Armored Apes and Armored Apes are particularly hostile lately."

"As the leader of Elsaland, I must protect the citizens. I sent some knights to eliminate the dang dirty apes."

"The apes show up to the east of White Spring Village. Want to help my knights take them out?"
Intermediate
"How'd the mission go?"

"It'll take more than a couple of days to eliminate the Panzer Apes," Roland commented grimly.
End
"%n%, I'm so grateful for your help. I knew you would help us succeed." Roland smiled at you warmly.

"Unfortunately, something else terrible has happened. Can you help?"

"Hawkeye Knight Hawks, the general stationed at White Spring Village, is not happy with my ascension."

"He even challenged me to prove myself. He wants me to defeat monsters that he cannot slay."

"%n%, my friend, would you help me establish myself among the knights?"

"Take this boiling-hot stone and use it in the southeast of Steam Crevice to draw out the monster Steam Dancer. When you find it, kill it."
Intermediate
"Please be careful, my friend."

"Don't get yourself killed on my behalf."
End
"I'm grateful for your help, %n%."

"But Hawks still isn't pacified, so I've decided..."

"I've decided to eliminate the evil Blacknest Werewolves!" Roland exclaimed.

"The Blacknest Werewolves and Northland Bandits of the Eternal Mountains assisted in the fall of Elsaland. Now they must pay."

"If we can eliminate them, Hawks will recognize me as the new leader."

"Please make another trip for me, my friend."

"The nest of Blacknest Werewolves is to the west of the Sandwind Observatory."
Intermediate
"It's hard work to gain the loyalty of these proud knights."

"I thought about this issue before becoming a lord, but I had no idea it would be quite so difficult."
End
"Well done, %n%. I think we've silenced the Werewolves for a while."

"But I hear Hawks still doubts me. Ridiculous!"

"Hawks thinks that, because we didn't kill the Blacknest Werewolves' leader, we didn't prove our power."

"Who does Hawks think he is? Were I not a lord, I'd have challenged him to a duel long ago!"

"Looks like we have to prove ourselves again."

"Please help me kill Carreras, the leader of Blacknest Werewolves. Hawks will see that we're a force to be reckoned with!"
Intermediate
It won't be easy to deal with the leader of Blacknest Werewolves. Keep your weapon steady, and keep your eyes peeled for Werewolves prowling about!
End
"We did it! We slayed Carreras, the leader of Werewolves!" Roland grinned and pumped his fist in celebration.

"Thank you, %n%, for your hard work. I finally have a reputation as a courageous lord."

"Hawkeye Knight Hawks at last swore loyalty to me in front of everyone."

"It's all thanks to you, my friend."

"It's been a long time, %n%. You are getting famous in the north."

"We have controlled the situation in the Eternal Mountains and the Knight Valley. However, we could not take down Elsaland."
End
"Why do you have these?" Roland demanded. "They are the keepsakes of the lord of Elsaland."

You told Roland about old lord Basaland's decision.

"I see." Roland looked away, but you could see tears welling in his eyes.

"So many have put so much faith in me. I will take back Elsaland Fortress if it's the very last thing I do."
