Chapter 3:

We fought mercilessly as we pushed deeper into the ruins, Goblin corpses littering our wake.

We picked up the pace, an ever-present sense of dread snapping at our heels.

Deep within the ruins, we came across Colman, standing like some kind of statue, alone and expressionless.

"Colman? Are you...?" Lulu reached out to touch Colman.

But as she touched her, Lulu's body slowly began to fade away. Above her, a gleaming crystal -clear and featureless - began to form.

"Colman! Wh-What are you doing?!"

Lulu lashed out at the mysterious crystal, but to no avail. Her spells passed harmlessly through it as though it weren't even there.

Then, all at once, the crystal let out a blinding flash and thousands of shards of light rained down upon us.

The emergency activated the Shield, but it soon broke, and we were engulfed by light.
