"C'est la vie. Miss Emma doesn't want these gifts... why don't you give them to Jo for me?"

You tell Phineas it's a bad idea.

"Leave me alone..." Phineas still looks defeated.

Phineas still looks discouraged.

You describe Jo's reaction to the gifts.

"Ah yes... Jo and miss Emma share the same birthday. I promised I would get her a beautiful dress, a nice hat, and some shiny accessories!" Antony abruptly comes back to his senses.

"Then we agreed that we'll be together." Phineas remembers something. His eyes are full of tears.

"I was a fool. She's been waiting for me all these years and I let her down... I will cherish her this time!"
