I kept worrying about the monsters stealing my treasure over the next few days.

I swore I would never tell the others about this secret.

Whitefire still looked really happy. Of course, I gave him a lot of soda and crackers. This made him happy but the situation was beginning to grate on me.

This time it was River Boys. What kind of monster would turn up next?

There have always been monsters on Sakura Island. Master Sakurai's power however had always protected us from the monsters.

"What are you so happy about?" Yoshiko, like her big sister, was very beautiful.

"Those Jelly Rabbits near the village became really hostile this morning! They even tried to attack Snowy."

At this, my heart lurched, but I said nothing.

"So I grabbed that nasty rabbit and threw it into the well! Aren't I clever?"

Wait... Did Yoshiko just said... "into the well"?

The thought sent me rushing out the door without even a word of praise for Yoshiko. I think the devil must have taken my heart.

Outside, the village was in complete panic again.

The popular attraction of the Stoneroot Hot Spring was suddenly filled with strong Jelly Rabbits. There was a lot of them and they were no longer their placid selves.

Yoshiko had followed me out. She covered her face in shock and was almost in tears.

"This... This is the rabbit that I threw into the well... How come there are so many of them??"

What Yoshiko said reminded me of something...

Maybe... The monsters weren't drawn to the treasure... Instead, what if the Bowl of Plenty "produced" them?

In legend, if you put a gold nugget into the Bowl of Plenty, it will produce countless gold nuggets and make you rich; if you put in a kernel of corn, you will end up with more corn than you can eat in a lifetime.

What if you don't put money or food into the bowl? What if you put in a monster?

So the Bowl of Plenty produced all those monsters?

It's not my fault! I don't believe it can replicate living things. All of the strange things happening in the village... They must all be a coincidence... right?
