Voices of the Farmers: The Scarecrow is Gone

The Voices of the Farmers column has been brought to you by Togu, a farmer from the Red Ridge. Red Earth Condors hovering in the south are destroying his scarecrows, which breaks his heart, because he apparently has a very unhealthy attachment to them. But the Inaugural Issue isn't judging.

The Farmers Association recently announced a new type of scarecrow-making method that could prevent these beloved scarecrows from being destroyed by Condors.

Production Method:

Necessary materials: Farmers Association-designed puppet, bamboo stick, and one piece of ordinary clothing.

Production process:

1. The farmer must write down identification information and send it to the Farmers Association. Once the information has been verified, the Association will mail the puppet to the sender.

2. Dress the puppet in clothing and attach the bamboo stick. There you have it!

The Farmers Association believe that the Red Earth Condors' beaks won't be able to damage a wooden scarecrow.

This is a measure aimed at farmers in Red Ridge. Farmers in other areas should check for woodpeckers before applying the same methods, as a woodpecker would certainly destroy the wooden scarecrows.
