L18. The Quiver

"A few days ago, as I sorted through some pelts, a Petulant Pansy came right up and bit me!"

"Fortunately, I escaped, but the flower devoured my quiver. I use those arrows to make a living."

"Could you get them back for me? I'd buy more, but I'm really cheap."

"This Petulant Pansy greedily ate the entire quiver."

"I wonder how it could have swallowed them all! Somehow, none of the arrows pierced its belly." Leis wrinkled his forehead in thought.

"Without those arrows, how can I hunt cheetahs?"

"You found my quiver? Ah, they're all there - and they're all intact." Leis smiled with relief.

"I can't believe a flower got the best of me. But those things have sharp teeth!"
