You see another giant Giga Crystal after being transported to this area.

"I have been waiting. The Investigation Team is in the area."

When it starts to brighten up, you hear Giga Crystal calling you

"Don't move on! This is the campsite. Examine it!"

You turn around and look at the campsite. It's hard to think of anything good to say about it.

"What brings you here?"

You explain the current situation to the Giga Crystal.

You mention that Zindel is deteriorating, and that he is considering joining the Carso Church.

"I see, it is time then."

You're skeptical of the Giga Crystal's words.

"Go to the location noted in the letter and find Derlace. You will recognize each other with the pass phrase 'May time and will guide you'."

"Derlace will tell you what to do next."

"What brings you here?"

You explain the situation to the Giga Crystal.

"So Zindel has not overcome his fear yet? Even Derlace can't seem to break him out of it..."

Zindel's state is wearing on you.

"Don't worry about it, Zindel will break free from this darkness soon."

"You should not worry, Zindel is the hero of our tribe and will conquer his fear."

"Do as Derlace says and go to the Northern Stronghold and destroy it. Pass on any information you have gathered to Noll."

"Noll will be able to help with his research."

"Thank you for helping Zindel and Derlace, everything would have failed without you."

You tell the Giga Crystal that Zindel has pulled himself together.

"So he finally got past the trauma. It looks like Zindel has grown."

"It's all thanks to you."

You watch the Giga Crystal closely.

"Even though Zindel possesses great power, he was imprisoned by his fears."

"Your actions have helped him break free and allowed him to grow."

"Soon, Zindel will lead our tribe to glory. They will break free from the shackles of the Carso Church and return to the world."

"The main goal now is to defeat the Great Sage and keep the Carso Church from hurting anyone else."

"Derlace will tell you what to do next."

You reach for the Giga Crystal and a voice emerges...

"Why have you come?"

You reveal the questions brought about by the Carso Church scripture.

"When Carso brought the Ancient Trols to 'Nix,' he implanted them with a mineral which leeched off their life force. Only by praying to Carso were they granted the ability to stave off death and wield his power. Or so they believed."

"It was Safes' magical stone lost in 'Nix' which began to counteract the mineral. No longer were people forced to pray to Carso in order to stay alive and use their power."

"Their" power? If this is true, what you read about Carso's experiment was a lie.

It certainly explains how Aka was able to create the rift.

"I've learned about the current status from Derlace, Sage seems to have run to the Dungeon in the Northwest."
