""The Sprite King's word is truth! All must obey his wisdom!"

Lulu says to you with a scowl, as if just talking to you were making her queasy.

"I have nothing more to say to an unbeliever like you!""

Dialogues

How does one prove their faith in the Sprite King?

Interaction

Réponse :
Lulu hands you a strange, dark tribute.

"You put this on the altar, and then the Sprite King will decide if your heart is sincere or not. Cool, huh?" Lulu explains proudly.

"I don't need to prove nuthin'. See, I'm not all faithless like you. If you're not sincere... well, better to not go at all. The Sprite King punishes those that aren't worthy. Forever. And a day."

Dialogue #56013"Just plop the tribute on the Sprite King's destroyed altar. I really don't have time for anything else, so run along, pretty please?" Lulu looks impatient.

"The Sprite King is really not nice to people who aren't sincere. Like, he's really mean and stuff!"

*Check to see if you have the "Dark Tribute" in your backpack.

L82.柯利爾的苦惱之二
Acceptation
"Just what do you think you're doing here?!" Lulu asks as she paces around angrily.

"Do you have ANY idea how long I've been preparing for this moment? If Carso suspects anything--ANYthing--I'm making you responsible for it!

"You and your pal Colman, that worthless chump. Right. Anyway. Here, take this."

Lulu tosses you some Sprite equipment and a red-colored gem.

"What are you staring at? Colman should wear this, but you don't need to, okay? Use this at the Sprite King's Ruined Altar and collect its power for Carso.

Simple, yes? That's what I thought. Don't mess it up this time!"
Intermédiaire
"Colman doesn't know? The only way to find out what really happened back there is to cooperate with Carso.

"It doesn't matter what I ask her or how I phrase the question, Colman never seems to know anything. If she's not willing to say, I'll just have to go look for myself!

And if you think that someone or something is stopping me this time, think again! Not even Colman can stand in my way now."
Fin
"Right. I'd say this experience has given you some things to ponder, yes?"

Lulu takes the gem from Colman.

"Don't you dare interfere with me again! Carso's plan is going to succeed, and there's nothing you can do to prevent that."
L82.柯利爾的苦惱之四
Acceptation
"I've had just about enough of you--and of Colman, too!

While you were chasing after the Sprite King's power, I was busy carrying out my plan to incite the goblins.

If things were up to the two of you, we wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of stopping them!

It would be chaos, I tell you... chaos!
Intermédiaire
Just leave it to me, instead. I will find out what really happened back then."

"I know it must be something very sad, but I can't go on unless I know the truth."
Fin
"Is the goblin rebellion... over?" Lulu looks genuinely shocked.

"Who do you think you are, anyway? And why do you keep getting in my way?!"

"Meh, who am I kidding? I can't go on like this. If Carso doesn't trust me, how will I ever find the truth?
L82.柯利爾的苦惱之五
Intermédiaire
I realize Carso has been using me, but how does it all fit together? What's the big picture here?

When the people of Steam Mine Mountain see me, they avoid me like the plague. Nobody here will ever tell me the truth. It's maddening!

But hey, you can't win if you don't play, right?"
Fin
"What have we here? ...oh, my!"

Lulu looks at the photograph in astonishment, then flips it over and notices the writing.

"Funny, that. I had convinced myself that it never actually happened. I only have vague memories, fleeting impressions, so I always assumed it was a dream.

Colman will always be Colman... he was my best friend once, you know. It would be nice to rekindle that friendship some day..."

Colman doesn't speak, but he looks a little more at ease now.
