Hawk grew increasingly distressed as he read the letter from Yafay.

"How did it happen? I just heard from him..."

"So now it's just Yafay and her mother. Yafay must need help."

"Finally, I can tell my parents about my grand accomplishments!"

"Have you ever been to the arena?"

(Hawk rubs his hands in anticipation.)

"I'll be so famous if I win this competition!"

"Mr. Ptolemy might even invite me to give a speech... Whoa, I'm getting shaky just thinking about it!"

(Hawk's eyes glaze over as he envisions his bright future.)

"I... I can hardly speak! It's almost too much!"

(Hawk gives you a big bear hug.)

"Whew, that was close. The opponent's robot looks really strong! I can't believe you won. Clearly, it was because of my amazing robot!"

(You scowl at Hawk.)

"Ahem! What I mean is... Your robot-controlling skills are amazing! Simply WONDERFUL!"

(That's more like it, you tell Hawk.)

"I won't forget what you've done for me. From today onward, we are brothers!"

"Did you find the girl?"

"What did she say? Is she willing to be my penpal?"

(Hawk looks excited and vulnerable all at once.)

"C'mon, help me look for her! I already gave you everything you need!"

"What? Say that again!"

(You tell Hawk the girl's name is Cathy, and she's willing to be his penpal.)

"Cathy, Cathy... what a cute name!"

(Hawk is so happy he seems to be surrounded by little pink bubbles.)

"Thanks so much, Bro!"

(You realize this could be the beginning of something, and look forward to seeing where it goes. Whatever happens, you're rooting for Hawk.)

"Have you gotten any advice from the three elders?"

"I really value this friendship. Please, help me out!" Hawk looks at you pleadingly.

"Haha, the three elders have some pretty interesting advice!"

"Even though their ideas are pretty good, they don't really apply to my relationship with Ethen..."

"Looks like I'll have to think of another way!"

"Have you found the two parts yet?"

"Once it's assembled, please bring it to Ethen at (123, 283)!"

You tell Hawk what's going on with Ethen.

"So that's how Ethen feels!"

"We're both trying to court Cathy at the same time. Only true friends could be so alike. Haha!" Hawk seems to have shed his worries.

"Since we like the same person, we should settle this fair and square!"

"Well? Have you delivered the gifts to Cathy?"

"I feel so nervous!"

"I wonder if Ethen feels as nervous as I do..."

"Hmm, I see... so Cathy is in love with someone else, then..."

"Looks like my and Ethen's confessions both failed. We're so alike after all, even in our failures." Hawk looks down at his feet.

It's humiliating, but you admit Ledisia and Joseph respect you about as much as dirt.

"How do their little bodies contain so much stubbornness!"

"They've got me beat. I have to cave to their demands. Sigh..."

"Sigh..." Of all people in the world, why do these two unfinished humans bother ME?!"

You tell Hawk that Ledisia said he was like an uncle to her

"... arrrrg. I knew it. They always call me uncle. That's why I hate talking to them!"

"Why uncle? What uncle? What do they mean? Why can't they use my name? I'm Gregor! Call me Gregor!"

"I'm not even old enough to be an uncle! And they should respect me if I was, anyway!"

Hawk's anger radiates off him so strongly you could bake pies on it.

"Okay, okay, I have to stop being so mad. Ledisia likes the candies. So that's good. That leaves Joseph!"

Even though Hawk is hopping mad, hearing what Ledisia said about his candies makes him quite pleased.

"After all this, I really hope that Ledisia and Joseph can respect me more, and stop calling me uncle..."

"What's a guy got to do to get called Gregor?"

Hawk notices that you're looking at him strangely.

"Oh! Anthorra freezes. It's like she forgot you were still there. I uh uh uh I uh... I'm no pervert!"

"A guy gets called uncle but he's not an uncle! That'd drive anyone crazy, right?"

"And also who has my Tool Box?" Alright then! I'll tell you. Joseph loves my robot!"

You tell Hawk what Joseph said.

"What? Are you crazy?! Joseph... he... he said that! Gah! What's wrong with me?!"

"Don't you worry about it. I have my things back. That's what matters! NEXT I'll make them call me Gregor!!!"

You see the fire in Hawk's eyes.

"Anyways. That would be a huge help. I have something for you. Hopefully you'll like it."

"NEXT I'll make them call me Gregor!"

It seems to you like Hawk is losing his bearings again. At least he had some moments of happiness, right?
