"Bern used to be a prosperous city, but the whole poisonous bug thing really put a damper on our thriving community. Heck, we don't even have a Pinkberry anymore, or even one of those Pinkberry knockoffs."

"Kill the Fangflies and Bloodsucking Fangflies; bring back their sharp thorns to prove your accomplishments, and I will give you the glory of knights."

"After the plague, Bern fell into ruins." Romeo sighed sadly.

"They say everything started with the wizard Kukuryu in Deadwood Forest. But things got to be too much for him, too."

"Helping rebuild this land will give me some sort of purpose in life, you know?"

"Please continue to destroy the bugs and bring us their thorns."

"After the Plague Forest decayed due to the plague, the soil became very barren." Romeo grabbed a handful of dirt and let it run through his fingers.

"The Gnarled Treant absorbed any nutrition left in the soil and released a poisonous liquid."

"Once the soil loses all its nutrients, it is difficult to recover it, so we must stop these Gnarled Treant!"

"You'll find the Treants outside the city area."

After the soil becomes barren, this place goes lifeless and limp, Romeo said sadly.

"Before disease infected those withered trees, they were sturdy, with heavy, verdant leaves weighing down their thick branches. What a pity." Romeo sighed.

"I hope that, though they are rotten, they can one day return to the earth and supply the soil with their remaining nutrients."

"Thank you for helping us through this difficult time."

I can't wait for the day to come. We'll have a big celebration, and my Juliet's face will light up with joy, Romeo said tenderly.

"Juliet asked you to send me this?" Romeo examined the bangle, touched.

"How romantic!"

"Actually, I just bought a new gauntlet. It's higher quality than this one, but Juliet's has far more sentimental value."

"Here, why don't you take my gauntlet? It's the least I can do to thank you for your help."

I'm at wits' end, Romeo grumbled, troubled.

"Have you come to help me? Wonderful! I sent out that request so long ago; I was sure I'd never hear from anyone." Romeo heaved a sigh of relief.

When you finally asked him about his problem, Romeo looked away, blushing crimson.

"Well, the truth is, I wanted to surprise Juliet for our third anniversary."

"Her gloves are old and torn. I'd like to give her a set of Ghostly Gloves, but they are quite difficult to find."

"Can you help?"
