You explained to Jessica what had happened in Blue Bay.

"The bugs are shipping mysterious cargo?" clarified Jessica, puzzled.

"What are they really planning?"

"Thanks for bringing me up to date on Blue Bay," said Jessica brusquely.

"I don't understand the bug writing on this document. I can get someone to translate, but it'll take time."

"Before the document is deciphered and we decide on our next step, I hope you can help us out here."

"The forest has been polluted. Everything touched by the pollution is now purple and poisonous. This means the camp is running low on supplies. Please collect yellow honey from the Fury Butterfly Sprites near the camp. You'll also need to defeat the Weary Wisewood to collect clean timber. Those are the only usable resources left in that entire toxic thicket."

"The document is still being translated. I've asked them to hurry. In the meantime, we desperately need you to bring back more resources."

"I would love to help out, but I've got to keep an eye on the camp," Jessica explained, her eyelids beginning to droop from sheer exhaustion.

"Thank you very much for your help. This will alleviate our supply shortage for a while."

A smile crossed Jessica's face, but only for a moment.

"We can't afford to relax yet. There are still many issues to address," she said solemnly.

"I've got more matters to which you must attend, %n%..."

"Two skilled adventurers from our camp have now gone missing. They were last seen near the river. I hope you can find them."

"Their names are Caret and Jody."

"Ah, it's you, %n%. What's the matter?"

"The situation is very uncertain right now. Until the toxic clouds in the forest disperse, I can only wait for orders from headquarters."

You repeated Shannon's order, but Jessica seemed surprised.

"I thought we were going to meet up with the main force, but Jarl wants me to wait it out? I'm a sitting duck here! We should concentrate our forces first. I need to think about our next move."

"It gives me the creeps, though. I don't know how to describe it. I need a favor, %n%," Jessica said, worry lines creasing her forehead.

"Fort Ursuva to the northeast fell several days ago. I want you to check the situation at the fortress and look for survivors."

"The information from the survivors might help us figure out what the heck is going on here."

"Something makes me uneasy about this whole thing."

"Report any new information to me as quickly as possible. The camp is very short staffed at the moment, so you're the only one I can send."

"General Jarl, the leader of the Praetorian Guard, is involved with the forest's corruption?" Jessica gasped.

"I just can't believe it! But we're running out of options here."

"If Jarl can't be trusted, we must make other plans!"

"I want you to go to the Resistance headquarters and personally tell Royal Duke Posolain about Jarl. Warn him to keep an eye on Jarl. He might be a traitor, but we'll need more evidence if we hope to prove anything."

"The brainwashed soldiers in the Ursuva Ruins may also offer some clues. Once you collect more evidence, see Shannon. He will show you the route to headquarters."

"I know I asked you to collect supplies earlier, but we need even more. Please bring back more objects that haven't been tainted by the Purple Spore."
