"If you're so interested in the Necromancer class, I'll give you a taste of it!" Necromancer laughs.

"Let's start now! I happen to need some help."

"I'm trying an ancient spell and urgently need some ingredients, you're just in time to help me."

"Go to Southern Island and kill South Sea Crocodile and Duke Kongs, then bring back eyeballs of crocodiles and hearts of gorillas."

"Then go to Belcar to kill Ironskin Cloned Beast and bring back its magic horn."

"Remember to increase your ability to level 30 as well. Come back to me right away after you've finished the tasks."

"Ancient ritual will begin after you return!"

"Go southward and cross southsea bridge to find South Sea Crocodile and gorillas, then bring back ingredients I need."

"Distant Belcar in the north may take you a while, Ironskin Cloned Beast live on vast prairie."

"Well, these are the ingredients." Necromancer says after checking your items.

"Now I'll perform ritual alone, you're no longer needed."

"Don't be surprised, ha ha!"

"Take this Necromancer Beast Skull and give it to Class Masters in major cities." Necromancer gives you an ancient skull.

"This is skull of beast of hell, only Necromancers able to control darkness deserve to have it."

"I don't know about the purpose or origin of these altars, but I can feel an abundant flow of energy."

This unknown Necromancer bought the history book about West City from you and began to read it intently.

"This book mentions that the surge of energy is nothing new to these altars."

"Apparently, the warriors guarding these altars were known as the Templar Sentinel. Their shields could broadcast a burst of energy. Anyone hit by this energy would experience an increase in his or her defensive capabilities."

"I want to do an experiment. According to the book, the Templar Sentinels used a kind of shield know as the Castle Defender. Can you bring me one?"

"The existence of this energy is indisputable. Even if I've hadn't read this book, I'd still feel its strong presence."

"Now we should explore how it is formed and what kind of effect it has."

"Malare...Anara...Boou," the Necromancer uttered as he placed the shield onto the altar.

The ground began to shake as a ball of white-hot energy took shape and began to wrap itself around the shield. The shield seemed to implode with light, then quickly die down to its normal form.

The Necromancer handed you the shield. You trembled as you held it, still reeling from the impact of the ritual.

"I wasn't expecting to run into you again so soon, Sprite Messenger." The Unknown Necro says.

"Are all the preparations for breaking through the roadblock going smoothly?"

"Come back and find me when you're ready!"

"It looks like these trials don't pose too much of a difficulty for you anymore. As you grow, the powers that are activated when you reincarnate will grow as well." The Unknown Necro says.

"Allow me to use the divine energy of these ruins to give you a blessing for successfully completing the trials!"

"I hope that no matter what future trials or tribulations you encounter, you'll always be able to find your way."

"Go back to the Class Master. I have nothing left to teach you!" The Unknown Necro stares at you.
