April 1: I returned from my trip and brought back father's favorite ham. I didn't see him waiting for me on the shore when I landed. I thought he must have been at home cooking some eggs. I walked home, expecting a good meal, but the villagers on the way looked at me strangely as I went by. I saw Persephone pacing at the door with a worried look on her face when I arrived home.
