"There are Fortification Craftsmen in all three capitals. Use the hotkey 'M' to open the Map, and a mallet marks the location of a Fortification Craftsman or Alchemist."

*Nia's Textbook is required to complete the quest. If this book is lost, a replacement can be purchased from the NPC Sprite Beginner's Guide Gildhorn near the Kaslow Portal. (Kaslow City 126, 271)

"Congratulations! Now you know how to fortify! There is a success rate for weapon fortification; using a higher grade fortification scroll will increase the success rate, and sometimes it can be done with the help of some magical tools!"

"A failed fortification will reduce durability to zero. You must repair the item before you can try fortifying it again."
