"Sprite Messenger! Can you hear me?"

You are suddenly hit with an overwhelming dizziness as a familiar voice echoes in your ears.

"Perhaps you remember me? I am Jiladas of Jale, the Lightspeed Scientist. I am speaking to you now via a special communication device of my own invention."

"Not long ago, while carrying out some routine mechanical maintenance, I discovered what appeared to be an alternate dimension. After conducting extensive research, I learned that it had been created by a malevolent force!"

Jiladas says, his tone growing increasingly agitated.

"To my knowledge, only the Sprite King Carso possesses the power to manipulate space-time and forge alternate dimensions. This may well be his doing..."

"Sprite Messenger! I am afraid the situation requires urgent attention. You are the only person upon whom I can rely! I implore you to travel to the Alternate Dimension and uncover its dark purpose!"

"That we know so little about it is most unsettling."

"Let us move on to the subject of interdimensional travel! Traversing alternate dimensions requires vast amounts of personal energy. I am afraid that, in your current state, you would be unable to withstand the usual damage incurred by such a journey."

"You must go first to the Altar of Sands and draw upon the Sprite King's strength. That should afford you a measure of protection."

"The amount of evil energy I sensed emanating from this mysterious dimension has planted within me a feeling of dread I simply cannot shake,"

Jiladas says, a shudder detectable in his voice.

"You will need to use the time machine I invented in order to reach it."

"I leave this in your hands. I only hope my fears will not be realized..."

"Hurry now to the Altar of Sands on Steam Mine Mountain and appeal to the Sprite King for the use of his strength."

"Have you acquired some of the Sprite King's energy? Excellent! The time machine will be ready momentarily!"

he exclaims, sounding somewhat hopeful.

"All we must do now is reboot the time machine's key energy module."
